HackSmith 2017 is Smith College’s third annual hackathon. It is currently one of the only college hackathons designed to promote gender equality in computer science. Last year, Hack@Smith 2016 hosted over a 100 students from a diverse range of colleges including Amherst, Brown, Columbia, Rutgers, University of Maryland, College Park, Wellesley, and more. Over 70% of the attendees identified as female.

This year, Smith’s rapidly growing computer science club, Smithies in CS, will continue the tradition and invite students from all over the east coast to our 24-hour hackathon scheduled to take place February 25-26th 2017. All gender identities are welcome!
